You knock on mortality's door,
bringing misery with you
to deliver the flowers.

He was still young,
still a sapling, beginning
to root himself into the future.

What of his twin brother,
now infected by nightmare bugs,
soon to be chopped down too.

Misery's flowers have wilted
but his memory will live on
forever.

I woke up this morning to find out a guy I went to high school is dead - he died on the 17th, no one knows for sure... Family hasn't send anything yet. I'm numb.
