he loves me,
he loves me not.

he loves me,
he loves me not.

foolish, naive, little girl:

who are you to know about love?

boys in middle school only begin
to learn how to spell the word;
don't you know better than to
expect them to mature any
quicker than they already do
and love you
"forever and always"?

he loves me,
he loves me not.

he loves me,
he loves me not.

foolish, naive, little girl:

what do you know about break-ups?

sure, he tells you that he needs
to stay home and do homework
when in reality, he's taking another
girl to the movies to see a teen flick;
don't you know that it's far worse to
hear your husband tell you he's at work
when in reality he's placed his
wedding ring on her bedside table
while she rides him all night long?

he loves me,
he loves me not.

he loves me,
he loves me not.

foolish, naive, little girl:

what do you know about heartaches?

you're only thirteen - young, adventurous,
independent, too young to be ready for
commitments, too young to settle down;
don't you know that there are far worse things
that a middle school break up... things like
having your only daughter and yourself
be abused
[physically, verbally, and sexually]
by the man you once thought was your
"prince charming"?

he loves me,
he loves me not.

he loves me,
he loves me not.

foolish, naive, little girl:

please quit picking my daisies
only to ruin their innocence
in exchange for your own.

One of the main problems nowadays is that most dudes my age are so rude, immature, disgusting, mean, cheat, and pick on others. Which gives us a bad image. Just wanted to point that out. But meh, that's why I'm going to have a relationship when I graduate from high school, so I can stay away from all this nonsense. Anyway (before I seemed to get out of topic, as usual:/), you're giving a really good message.
