Literature Text

my child,
my dearest Mary,
don't hate your father for leaving us;

we were children ourselves,
having you was to make us
grow up and become adults.

my child,
my dearest Mary,
don't be as naive as i was
and trust that the birth of kin
will staple a relationship;

while I have been strong in
raising you alone,
i can't help but look into your gray eyes
and see your father, our fragile memories.

my child,
my dearest Mary,
your father is a great man;

i thank him daily for giving me
a blessing like yourself - with
time, I think you'll understand.
: shrug: Random, sorry
